The battle system has also been improved, with the addition of new moves and abilities. Players can choose from a wide range of Pokémon, each with its unique strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. The game also features a multiplayer mode, allowing players to trade Pokémon, battle, and interact with friends.
The game takes place in the Unova region, two years after the events of Pokémon Blanco. The player assumes the role of a young trainer who sets out on a journey to become the Pokémon Master. The story begins in the Accumula Town, where the player receives their very first Pokémon from Professor Juniper, a renowned Pokémon researcher. The player’s goal is to travel throughout the Unova region, battling Gym Leaders and their Pokémon to earn Badges, while also thwarting the plans of the nefarious Team Plasma.
The game features eight Gym Leaders, each specializing in a specific type of Pokémon. Defeating the Gym Leaders and their Pokémon earns the player Badges, which are required to enter the Pokémon League. The Pokémon League is the ultimate goal of the game, where players must battle the Elite Four and the Champion to become the Pokémon Master. |
