The Kun family is a lively bunch, always laughing and joking around. They’re the kind of family that makes you feel welcome and included from the very start. My stepdad’s parents, Grandma and Grandpa Kun, are the glue that holds the family together. They’re the ones who make sure everyone stays connected and that family traditions are kept alive. My stepdad, John, comes from a big, boisterous family. He’s one of five siblings, and they all have very distinct personalities. There’s my stepdad, John, then his older sister, Rachel, his younger brother, Alex, and his twin sisters, Mia and Emma. When I first met them, I was a bit overwhelmed. One of the biggest challenges I faced was adjusting to my stepdad’s family’s traditions. They have a big family dinner every Sunday, and at first, I felt really awkward. I didn’t know anyone, and I didn’t know what to expect. But as I got to know them better, I started to feel more comfortable. Now, I look forward to Sundays, and I love being a part of their crazy, lovable family.
