In some cultures, the Blue Moon is associated with mythological and spiritual significance. For example, in some Native American traditions, the Blue Moon is considered a time for spiritual renewal and introspection. This happens because the lunar cycle, also known as a synodic month, is approximately 29.5 days long, while the calendar month is usually 30 or 31 days.
